The mega cultural event provided a solid platform to the young and creative minds to showcase their talents through various competitions. It also gave an opportunity to everyone to savour the cultural beguilement.

The third day of the fest had many breath-taking and challenging events like counter strike, snow drag and street dance. Around 50 participants tried their luck in slow biking contest and a student from PESIT won the first prize of Rs 45,000 completing the task in the longest amount of time. Prior to the event, professional bikers performed some extreme stunts on bike. Specially invited teams from Mumbai, Chennai and Goa enthralled the crowd in the street dance event which was a mix of hip hop and funk dance style. Members of these teams lived up to the expectations of the audience and received a huge applause.

Even the non-cultural events witnessed neck-to-neck competition with cartooning, clay modelling and face painting seeing more number of participants. “Usually non-cultural events take a backseat in college festivals as students like to enjoy stage performances. However this time, events like poster making, collage, clay modelling also pulled in a large crowd,” said Nisha, one of the participants.

One of the theatrical events was held at the football stadium in which students enacted comic incidents. A participant enacted a skit titled Modern Tenali which showcased the brilliance of an engineering student called Tenali. The audience enjoyed every kind of skit from the sharp satires to downright farces. Despite their comic quality, these also spread social messages relating to global warming, plight of farmers in the country, untouchability and female infanticide.

Events like classical singing, semi classical vocal and classical group dance took place without any large crowd to back them. At the end of the event, BNMIT grabbed the overall championship trophy for its all round performance.
