Rowdy surrenders

Around 4.10 pm, Ravi and one of his associate Jhonty dressed in advocate’s attire sneaked into the court complex and surrendered in front of the magistrate.  The duo are accused in the  Chandrashekar Babu murder case in Siddappura police station. The two were sent to judicial custody for 15 days.

Ravi's name cropped up in the recent Kathriguppe Linga's murder case and jurisdictional police CK Achukatu were hunting for him as he is one of the main accused in the case.

Hoodwinked

Interestingly, Linga's associates who were after Ravi’s blood were waiting near the court complex while the local police too had spread their net awaiting Ravi’s arrival, but Ravi managed to hoodwink everyone and managed to surrender.

Apparently, he had come equipped with deadly weapons and discarded it minutes before entering the court complex. The police later recovered the weapons.
