'Bus day' today

The ‘Day’ would be celebrated along the routes BEML Nagar, Kanakadasanagar and Ramakrishna Nagar. KSRTC Divisional Controller, M N Srinivas said the frequency of buses has increased to every five mins, as against the 10 mins gap earlier.

Similarly, buses that plied once every 20 mins will now ply every 10 mins, increasing the total number of trips, he said addressing a press conference.

Requesting the citizens to give a break to their private vehicles on Wednesday, Srinivas informed about additional buses which have been given as a part of  ‘Bus Day’ celebration.
