Actress injured in ruckus at home

Two women barge into her house; brother alleges blackmail

The police said Priya's brother Mohan was having some transactions or relationship with a middle aged woman and now she had approached the police.  “We have taken up a case and are investigating,” police said. 

One of the women involved is Manjula who has accused Mohan of betraying her after promising to marry her. In her complaint she has stated that Mohan, Priya’s car driver Shekar and other members of the family attacked and injured her.

On the other hand, Priya's mother lodged a complaint at the same police station against Rekha, Manjula and another man for creating scenes at their house. When contacted, Priya, who was on her way home after getting treated at a hospital said:  “Neither have I have seen that woman nor heard about her from my brother. She landed up in my house and tried to bring the roof down.”

The actor said that things should be clarified with her brother. Mohan told Deccan Herald that he had extended financial help to Manjula, a divorcee, while she was in trouble. However, she, along with another friend of hers was trying to blackmail him. “They came to my house and picked up a quarrel with my sister and mother,” he alleged.
