The event saw participation from NTPC, ONGC, Ashok Leyland, Dr Reddy’s Labs, Tata Consultancy Engineering, BPCL, ITC Foods,  TATA Steel, Indian Oil Corporation, Hero Honda Motors amongst others compete for top honours. NTPC, Delhi  won the first place, and the team from Chennai Petrochemicals Corp. Ltd were the runners up. The 18 teams were given a hypothetically simulated company to run, whose performance was evaluated for four quarters over the first two days. The opening ceremony of the event was chaired by Subrahmanyam Goparaju, VP and CEO of SETLabs Infosys Technologies Ltd.
