<p>Instructions have been given especially for Tannery Road, which would see demolition of some houses and business establishment.<br /><br />A decision to this effect was taken during a meeting at the BBMP on Monday where the BBMP Commissioner Bharatlal Meena directed all the zonal commissioners to clear the decks to carry out this multi-crore project.<br /><br />Besides Tannery Road, other prominent roads that would be widened are two roads of Dasarahalli, Bommanahalli, Agara and Rajarajeshwarinagar. Sankey Road is also included in this project, the sources said.<br /><br />Notices to be served<br /><br />At the end of the five-hour-long meeting, the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike Commissioner instructed all the zonal officers to serve notices to the parties who would be affected.<br /><br />These 91 roads are part of the ‘first phase’ of the road widening project. There will be many more roads that would come under the project.<br /></p>
