Excitement about Prajwal

Actor Prajwal Devaraj is thrilled about his next release Nannavanu as he plays a lawyer for the first time

“Commercially for me Nannavanu is big. I expect it to change my career forever. I have never played this character before. I play a young lawyer who struggles to establish his career. He’s willing to work on a case even for Rs 100, that’s the state of desperation. And in the second half, I don a totally different avatar and you’d never recognise me in that sequence,” he says.

Prajwal is confident that Nannavanu will bring about a sea change in his image and after the movie is released, the pattern of stories offered to him would be different. “I would like to work on subjects that would not just have commercial value but will allow scope for good performance as well,” he avers.

In the second half of the movie, a young rich spoilt belle (played by Aindrita Ray) steps into this lawyer’s life and things change forever. “He doesn’t realise that she has played a substantial part in his life until the fag end of the movie,” says Prajwal. The movie will release on May 20.
