Mkt trends reflect new SAP services

SAP Vice-President (Enterprise Sales - India) Suprakash Chaudhuri said, our offering around on demand (SaaS), on premises (licensing) and ‘on device’ (mobility) are part of our strategies to provide customers flexibility and agility in their adoption of IT.

“Our platform, which is a combination of on demand’, on premise and on device, will allow enterprise networks to work more homogenously and bring in efficiency to their processes.”
Stating that trends like cloud computing have been around for a long time, he said global recession has only served as ‘catalyst’ to its adoption. “Customers in recent times have started to look for cost effective solutions and larger enterprises in particular like solutions to be agile, lean and flexible.

So what we have experienced during  and after recession is a change in the way technology is adopted and we have accordingly changed our offering to suit the market needs,”  he observed.
