Meet on upholding family system

  The seminar discussed various threats faced by families in India and the consequences of systematic destruction of the family.

Participants in the seminar also discussed ways to check the trend of rising number of divorces, single mothers, fatherless children and disintegrated families.

Detailed memorandum

A joint action committee will be formed comprising all NGOs across the country working towards gender neutral, family friendly laws to draw a detailed memorandum with observations and recommendations to the Ministry of Law and Justice on all marriage and family related laws including the Hindu Marriage Act, Hindu Adoptions and Maintenance Act and Domestic Violence Act.
