<p>After the BTC had extended their entry deadline to 6 pm on Wednesday, a few informal meetings were held between the KROA and the BTC and it was decided to put in the entries before the deadline.<br /><br />The BTC will hold a managing committee meeting on Thursday morning and based on the outcome of the meeting, the entries will be formalised.<br /><br />“The entries have been put in today on the basis of oral negotiations that took place between the BTC management and the associations (KROA and KTA). <br /><br />“They will be formalised tomorrow after the managing committee of the BTC meets,” Arvind Raghavan, honorary secretary of the KROA, said. “We are optimistic of the outcome.”<br />On Monday, the BTC had raised its stake money by giving an additional 1.25 crore. <br />One of the main issues that the KTA and KROA had taken objection to was the decrease in stake money from the previous season. <br /><br />After several discussions and negotiations, which are understood to have been positive, a majority of the problems have been sorted out and it appears as if the summer season in Bangalore will go ahead.</p>
