If you are a foodie and exploring options for breakfast and lunch, then you shouldn't miss Anna Kuteera at Katriguppe.

This vegetarian hotel has carved a niche for itself among those who wish to taste a variety of food. Started by Chandrashekar Hebbar, the eating joint has a wide range of menu comprising all types of food stuff. Customers can relish chaats, Chinese, South Indian and North Indian dishes under one roof. The food is prepared in a  healthy way amidst hygienic conditions.

“We have a huge bunch of clients for our variety of dosas. Open butter masala, rava dose and neer dose are the fast moving items. Different sabjis for rotis and parathas are also in great demand,” says Kiran Hebbar, son of Chandrashekar Hebbar, who looks after the business.

People from all walks of life visit the eatery and taste the quality food in a spacious food court, especially during weekends. A large group of students, tuition goers and shoppers visit this eating joint every day.

It does a brisk business during evening hours when youngsters stand in a long queue for chaat items. Koushik, a student says, “I always come here with a big bunch of friends and we order many things beginning with chaats and end up having ice creams or juices.”

An array of sweets including Milk Mysore Pak, Carrot Halwa, Soan Papdi, Kaju rolls, etc are available for the people with sweet tooth and these items are in great demand during the festival season.

 “Veteran poet Doddarange Gowda visits the shop every day for his morning tea and noted film personalities like Ravichandran, Jayanth Kaykini, Sunil Kumar Desai have relished the food here,” says Kiran. “All our family members have different choice ranging from North Indian, Chinese, chaats to dosas. So, we frequently dine here as we get to order our favourite dishes,” says Gopal, a businessman. “Also I have not found such tasty and refreshing coffee anywhere in the City,” adds his wife, Sumangala.
