The yummy chaats and snacks available here offer a distinct taste and make you visit the place again and again.

Run by Shivaraj and his brothers, the outlet mainly caters to the students from nearby colleges like PESIT, P V Polytechnical, Guptha College and RV College of Engineering, who hang out here in the evening. Shivaraj’s seven years of experience in food business brings an unparalleled taste to every item.

He uses different kinds of masalas in whatever he makes, which is why they differ from the local chaat items.

The tempting aroma that waft from the shop pulls in a large crowd in the evenings, which mainly consists of students and people who are returning home after work.
The shop offers a whole range of chaat items like chur mur chaat, aloo chaat, dahi
papdi chaat, aloo tikki, dahi tikki, plain samosa and cutlet. Bengal’s traditional sweet, rasagulla and crispy jamuns are also on the menu.

Pani Puri may be popular across the country in various forms like Delhi-style gol gappas and Hyderabadi pani puris. But nothing can beat the Kolkata variant.
“The specialty lies in the ingredients we fill inside the puchkas. People who visit us often ask us about the varied taste. We prepare them in typical UP style and do not add any artificial flavouring agents,” says Shivaraj.

Krithika, a diploma student from PV Polytechnic, is one of the regular customers at the chaat centre and likes to have samosa masala and plain masala. “As this corner is on my way home, I stop here all the time. They do the stuffing differently and also offer heavenly puchchkas with crispy tikkis. I am addicted to this place and don’t like to eat chaats anywhere else in the City,” she says.

Apart from chaats, one can also gorge on a variety of parathas like gobi, aloo and onion parathas. “I cannot resist eating the onion parathas here. I feel the parathas I get here are like those I get in my native place, Bihar,” says Roshan, an engineering student from RVCE.
