New registrars appointed for BU

The former registrars whose services were annulled are Dr M G Krishnan, Registrar (Administration) and MS Talwar, Registrar (Evaluation).

In a recent spat in April, the VC had warned both the former registrars that if files were not cleared within 72 hours, the deputy registrars of both administration and evaluation had the powers to overrule the registrars to implement the orders sent by the VC. Following the warning, both the former registrars had submitted a memorandum to the governor, higher education minister and principal secretary.
