Hoping to get into a medical college, Sushma had recently appeared in the UP Combined Pre-Medical Test (CPMT). Now with a “fail” mark in her Class XII exam, her dreams of getting an admission to MBBS course is still a distance away.
Though Sushma’s aggregate stood at an impressive 61.7 percent, she failed to clear the Physics theory papers.
“She could score only six and seven marks in the first and second papers respectively,” board officials said.
Sushma has, however, scored well in other papers. She has secured 78 in Hindi, 55 in English and 65 each in Chemistry and Biology. She plans to apply for re-evaluation of her answer sheets. “I am sure she will pass with good marks after the re-evaluation,” her father Tej Bahadur Verma said.
