Koppa to implement Nirmala Ganga Yojane

The decision was taken at Town Panchayat meeting held under the presidentship of  Koppa Town Panchayat President Jayasri Navilekar.  Under the scheme, the beneficiaries will be given water connection at the cost of Rs 1500 and drainages will be constructed at the cost of Rs 5,000. Officials have been directed to make a list of beneficiaries.

The meet also discussed on the installation of jackwell to Hirekere.
It also directed the officials to take measures to develop parks in the town. Member Diwakar urged to create footpath at Thyagaraja road.

Vice-President Vani Sathish, Kishor Pejawar, Susheela, M R Kannan, Sudhakar Bhat and others were present.
