Mohammed Parveez, an Accountant at Coffee Trading Company in Kudloor Industrial area had withdrawn Rs 16.96 lakh belonging to the company from SBM bank in Kushalnagar and was returning in his two wheeler on Harangi road when the incident occurred. Two to three misccreants who were chasing the bike in car knocked down the bike and robbed the cash.
Parvez suffered injuries in his head and has been shifted to hospital in Mysore. Coffee Trading Company Chief Mohammed Rafiq has filed a case in this regard. SP Manjunath Annigeri visited the spot.
