The CBI sleuths have put up a notice on the door of their house located in MCHS extension area in BTM Layout II Stage. The officials have decided to keep a vigil on the house until the couple return, added the sources.
The CBI officials gathered details about property owned by her. They availed investigation warrant from the Court based on the details collected, said the sources.
Case registered
A senior CBI official told Deccan Herald that a case had been registered against Dr Manjula based on the details collected. “We could not continue the investigation as there was nobody in the house. We are waiting for Dr Manjula to return to the city in order to continue the probe,” the official added.
It is said that she did not take permission from the Cental government for the US tour as per norms. She has only applied for leave and has gone to the US violating the norms, the sources added.
