Abraham, who has already qualified for the August’s World Championships in Berlin, timed 49.87 seconds on the newly-laid track at the Birsa Munda Stadium. It was the sixth time Abraham was dipping below 50 seconds.

Sahana Kumari of Railways also completed a sweep of the high jump event, winning the gold with a clearance of 1.82 metres while in the men’s event, Hari Shankar Roy triumphed with 2.20 metres.
