Rains continue to lash DK, Udupi

Heavy rain would occur at isolated places over coastal Karnataka . The rainfall shall exceed 125 mm during the next 48 hours, warned a release from matereological department.

In the last 24 hours, Belthangady received highest rainfall of 56.1 mm followed by Puttur—46 mm, Sullia—30.2 mm, Mangalore—25 mm, and Bantwal—23.2 mm. The artificial flood situation at Bailare and Acharya colony remained the same. The Udupi district recorded a rainfall of 26.86 mm for the last 24 hours on Tuesday.
