Turns turtle

A bullet-tanker slipped off the road and turned turtle on National Highway-75 (former NH 48) near Adyar-Kannur on Friday morning.

The accident occurred, when the driver of the HP gas tanker, heading towards Bangalore from the city, lost control over the vehicle due to the slippery road surface.

However, there was no leakage of the gas and the driver has escaped unhurt.
A tree which fell on road at Ekkar disrupted the movement of vehicles for four hours.
