In the second quarter, Sowbhagya Lakshmi KT put the hosts ahead. After the break, Mrudula V made it 2-0 before Uttara G Kothari, in the fourth and final quarter, swelled the lead to 3-0. <br /><br />Tagari Baidya netted the consolation goal for Bengal in the dying minutes of the match. The State boys, who were outplayed by Bengal 8-16 on Wednesday, rode on a brace from Avinash A Rao to emerge narrow winners.
