Increase in income ceiling for creamy layer likely

The increase in the income limit will benefit the candidates from families of higher income group to get reservation in recruitment.
Sudhakar, answering a question by Congress MLC Khaji Arshad Ali, said the Government was considering the demand. The Cabinet would discuss the issue and take a decision.
The minister also said the Government had initiated process to purchase suitable land for the office of the State Backward Classes Commission.
