Bowl out to add excitement to KSCA all-India tourney

Unlike in the earlier editions where a tied match was decided via the spin of coin, the organisers have introduced bowl out to break the deadlock from the knock-out stages.
A total of 12 teams, including three State squads, divided into four groups of three teams each will vie for top honours in a league-cum-knock out basis. All matches will be of a two-day duration with each innings restricted to 100 overs.

The top team from each group will qualify for the semifinals to be held on August 11 and 12 while the final will be played on August 14 and 15 at Chinnaswamy.

The winners will take home a cash prize of Rs 1,00,000 while the runners-up will be richer by Rs 50,000. Man of the final will pocket Rs 5,000

KSCA XI are the defending champions of the tournament which has attracted new teams in Tripura, Vidarbha and Railways for the current edition.
