Kyles of Bute powers to victory in feature event

The two favourites Captivating, ridden by JG Sampson, and Imran Chisty-steered Palazzio’s Sun jumped into the lead right off the start with the rest of the field tightly bunched up right behind. At the home straight, Kyles of Bute made a scorching run from the back and eased past the leading pack to win the race by four lengths.

C Alford-ridden Diamond Hunter’s late surge gave him second place while Palazzio’s Sun and Captivating had to settle for third and fourth respectively.
