“As a State President, I agree with the differences revolving within the party circle at the State-level. The issue has been discussed with the Central leaders and action will be taken against the party men who go against the party rules,” said Udupi-Chickmagalur MP and BJP State President D V Sadananda Gowda.

Speaking to media persons here at the inaugural ceremony of his office at DC office premises on Tuesday, he said the  Party’s Central leadership has taken serious account of Eshwarappa’s behaviour in public. Groupism will not be entertained. Pressure through media by leaders on the party is highly intolerable. Final warning will be issued to all those who are indulged in anti-party activities. There should be limits for everything.

The guilty should be punished. Disciplinary action will be taken irrespective of their status in the party. Renukacharya and Belur Gopal Krishna are shown the right path and we hope that they may not go against the party rules in future,” he added.
Gowda said victory in the by-polls held for the Varamballi constituency of Udupi Taluk Panchayat signifies the unity and synchronised work of the partymen.

He said the newly opened MP office will be the administrative centre of the constituency besides working as the public grievance cell. “I will be available at the office one day in a week.” A meeting of Home Minister, MLC and the MLAs of the district will be convened every month to discuss the implementation of new plans. Demand to extend the Mangalore-Bangalore train to Karwar will be submitted before the Union government. Measures to solve the problems of fishermen, arecanut growers and others in the district will be taken besides a permanent solution for sea erosion problem will be chalked out. Home Minister Dr V S Acharya informed the cabinet sub committee will take into consideration the recommendations made by all the four committees in the taluk reorganisation before coming to a conclusion.

The MP office was inaugurated by Home Minister Dr V S Acharya. Udupi MLA Raghupathy Bhat, MLC Kota Srinivas Poojary, Kaup MLA Lalaji R Mendon, Udupi Deputy Commissioner Hemalatha and others were present on the occasion.
