Recently, the city celebrated the event with kids coming together at Landmark, to play games and to meet Dora in person. This fun initiative offered a platform to young kids to explore and also have loads of fun with ‘Dora the Explorer’. The kids learnt many things including clay modelling, book reading, counting..., all while having fun. The energy was unmistakably high and Dora’s young fans were seen busy with Dora dance games. “I like watching Dora on TV,” said Shana, a two-year-old kid, who was dancing to a song.

Designed with the aim to encourage effective parent-child interaction, the contest also had Dora travel all over the country to meet her fans in person. The event also had the kids answer some simple questions and the winner getting a chance to be ‘Dora’s best explorer friend’. The place was buzzing with parents who were there to see their kids play and participate in the activities.

And soon it was time for Dora to make an appearance, which the kids were looking forward to. Dora was there and the kids went crazy with joy at the sight of her. It was no less than a frenzy as Dora stepped in to meet her biggest fans, creating quite a stir in the small book section. Everyone wanted to take a picture with her and soon there was a huge crowd of screaming children and parents in the place.

The kids interacted with her and had an opportunity to get photographed with Dora.
And the sport that Dora is, she did oblige shaking hands with everyone. “The kids love to be around cartoon character. It is always so much fun to see them live in front of you,” said Rave, a parent.

The evening ended with Dora saying goodbye to the children and going back to the cartoon world.

Dora’s interactive and engaging nature had made everyone, including the parents, her fan.
