29-year-old Ludwig Fichte was filmed completing the classic puzzle while falling 5,900 feet in 31.5 seconds. And, after cracking the Rubik's Cube, he deployed his parachute and floated to the ground, 'The Sun' reported.

"Solving the cube in freefall has been done before -- but I'm the first to do it in rubber boat," Ludwig, a resident of Dresden twon in Germany was quoted by the British tabloid as saying.

He now wants to take his feat further -- possibly by solving two cubes before opening his chute.
