Rakhis bring cheer to jail inmates

People thronged shops selling rakhis. Members of the Patanjali Yoga Shikshana Committee visited the subjail and tied rakhis to inmates of the prison.

Members of the Eswariya Brahmakumari University visited the Lokayukta Office, district Sessions Court, District Consumers Forum, Food and Civil Supplies Corporation and Jalappa hospital and celebrated Raksha Bandhan with officials. Later, a programme was organised to celebrate the day at the Brahma Vidya Samaj and the Jain temple.
