'Change can happen, if all join hands'

Speaking after inaugurating a two-day training programme in e-governance for officials of various departments here, he opined that it was possible to bring changes if everybody joins hands. Adopting modern developments in administration ensures speedy service to general public. Using local language would help more to bring clarity too.

Following simple techniques help government employees to adopt as people-friendly methods. Dr Amitha Prasad, director general, Administrative Training Institute said now e-governance made its entry into important departments like railways, posts, passport, Visa, central excise and other schemes like Bhumi and Nemmadi, KSRTC. The e-governance is very helpful in good management. It is also an easy solution for people who spend less money and get instant facilities easily.

Director, Abdul Nazirsab Rural Development Centre, Pranalingam Shivasali, director, Urban Development, Astakalya and NIE Professor Shivakumar were present. Joint director, ATI, K R Sundar and camp director, H P Shivashankar also spoke.
