According to a press release, Train No 0631 Chennai Central – Mangalore Special will leave Chennai Central at 20.35 hrs on September 8 and arrive at Mangalore Central at 13.30 hrs the next day. Similarly, Train No 0632 Mangalore – Chennai Central Special will leave Mangalore Central at 17.25 hrs on September 9 and arrive at Chennai Central at 10 am on the following day.

The composition of the trains will be 1 AC 2-tier, 1 AC 3-tier, 8 sleeper class, 3 general second class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches.

The trains will stop at Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Palakkad, Shoranur, Kuttipuram, Tirur, Kozhikkode, Vadakara, Thalassery, Kannur, Payyanur, Kanhangad and Kasaragod. Train No 0631 will stop at Coimbatore also while Train No 0632 will stop at Podanur and Perambur also.

Meanwhile, Train No 0631 Chennai Central – Mangalore Special will leave Chennai Central at 20.35 hrs on September 10 and arrive at Mangalore Central at 13.30 hrs the next day. Train No 0640 Mangalore – Chennai Central Special will leave Mangalore Central at 14.15 hrs on September 12 and arrive at Chennai Central at 07.45 hrs the next day. The composition of the trains will be 1 AC 2-tier, 1 AC 3-tier, 8 sleeper class, 3 general second class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches.
