Vishnu, Valsan and Dayanand of Heggala village are the arrested. Police have registered cases against Acchapanda Harish, Dinesh, T K Harish of the same village in connection with the case.
The accused had brutally murdered Belliappa with a sword on Thursday night when he was on way to his home near Gundigere from Virajpet. “Three accused are absconding. We have a clue about them, and they will be arrested soon,” said Circle Inspector Shailendra. Primary investigations have shown that political and professional enmity was the reason for the murder.
