Guv's remarks irk Eshwarappa

Addressing reporters after participating in campaign for BJP candidate Dr Vishwanath on Thursday, he said though Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa spoke about Lokayukta report stating that Dharam Singh had a role in the Rs 23 crore mine scam, which was dropped by former governor Rameshwar Thakur, Governor Hansraj Bharadwaj fumed for no reason.

“He is marring the dignity and sanctity of the post. He has transformed Raj Bhavan into KPCC office,” Eshwarappa said and added that Governor is working as an agent of Congress.  “If he wants to play politics, let him resign from his post first,” he said.

Road show

Thousands of people participated in the road show led by Eshwarappa in the town on Thursday. The procession from railway station reached Town Municipal Council through Mahatma circle and proceeded further through Ganapathi Pendal, Ashok circle and Halepet.
