Yeddyurappa seeks greater investment in Karnatka during WEF

Yeddyurappa, met the top officials of Nestle and invited them to invest more in the state, Rajkumar Khatri, Commissioner of Karnataka Industries said.

Nestle already has its share of investment in the state in coffee and noodles. He also met the officials of the Jumeriah group, the noted Arab corporate group specialising in international hotels and resorts.

The group has evinced interest in building a five star hotel in Bangalore, Khatri told PTI here over the phone from Tinajin.
A Malaysian business group has invited the Chief Minister to take part in a business forum to be held in Malaysia, he said.

Yeddyurappa who attended the plenary session of the WCF addressed by Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao who later hosted a dinner in which a number of international and Indian business leaders took part, he said.

Union Human Resources Development Minister, Kapil Sibal who led the Indian delegation at the Summer Davos WEF meet took part in several sessions on economic growth and development
