Web to weed out fake ration cards

 
Transport minister R Ashok on Wednesday said the website would be launched in a week’s time. This would also help identify bogus cards as well. The minister said the bio-metric identification of BPL card beneficiaries would be in place in a few days. The system would help weed out about 20 lakh bogus cards. In addition the beneficiaries would get their share of food grains without fail.
