Swamy moves apex court to prosecute Raja

Swamy challenged a ruling of the Delhi High Court which dismissed his petition.
He said he had given a representation to Singh seeking his order to accord sanction for the prosecution of Raja.

“Nearly 2 years have gone and the Prime Minister should have decided on my application for getting sanction to prosecute Raja. If he thinks that the material placed by me is worthless, then he should have rejected my application. But he cannot sit on my plea,” Swamy said.
“When the sanctioning authority has directed an investigation by the CBI or any other investigating agency, and the investigation is in progress, it is impermissible for the Sanctioning Authority to grant or refuse sanction,” said the petition.
