Temple burgled

The miscreants who gained entry by breaking open the door of Guhe Kallamma temple near Tanneeruhalla, have looted the amount in the offering box after breaking it open.

Though the exact amount in the offering box is not known, temple priest Raghavendra said that the ‘hundi’ has not been opened since the past one and a half year.

It is assumed that the cash and offerings worth more than Rs one lakh in the hundi has been stolen.

In another incident, Gurudatta Telecommunication Institute, near SPG theatre was broken and a computer was stolen, according to sources.
