'Underworld activities will be curbed'

“We will not allow the underworld to be active in the City,” said Ashoka.

Speaking on the sidelines of the 10th anniversary celebrations of the BMTC Employees Co-operative Society on Sunday, Ashoka said that the anti-social elements will be crushed with an iron hand and an effective plan of action will be taken in accordance with the law.

“We will try to check the criminal activities with all possible measures,” he said.
