A complaint has been registered at Shanivarasanthe police station by Veerashaiva Samaja and Kodlipet hobli president B K Yatish, against the derogatory remarks on social media against Tumkur Siddaganga Mutt pontiff Shivakumara Swami.
“A person named Manish Manikantha has posted lousy comments about the Siddaganga seer on Facebook. Such derogatory statements are spread with an intent to disturb social harmony. Appropriate legal action should be initiated against the person, or else, a protest will be led by Kodlipet Veerashaiva Samaja, in association with various other communities,” stated the complaint.
Leaders of Veerashaiva Samaja, have submitted a memorandum to DC P I Sreevidya urging action against the accused who has posted disrespectful remarks on Shivakumara Swami.
