Despite the threat of the coronavirus lurking, Bengalureans were seen flouting mask mandate rules and partying without masks in public places. The Karnataka government had made masks mandatory in closed areas, air-conditioned rooms, and crowded areas in outdoor celebrations amid the covid scare.
