Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, who was campaigning in favour of Congress candidate P M Narendraswamy, here, on Tuesday, inadvertently mentioned the name of Narendra Modi a couple of times, instead of Narendraswamy. However, he rectified the error later.
Addressing the public, during his roadshow, the CM said, “Narendra Modi is responsible for the development of the constituency. People should vote for Narendra Modi, this time too.”
After realising the mistake, Siddaramaiah told the public, “While Narendraswamy is the truth, Narendra Modi is a myth. Hence, the people of the constituency should vote for Narendraswamy.”
