Opposition leader in the Legislative Council K S Eshwarappa said on Friday that the BJP would come to power by winning more than 170 seats.
He, along with his family members, visited the Chaluvanarayanaswami temple here on Friday, on account of Ramanuja jayanti and Maharathotsava.
Eshwarappa said Congress will be pushed to the third place and Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will be defeated.
The whole poll scenario has changed after Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the state. The election is being held under the guidance of Modi and Amit Shah, led by B S Yeddyurappa, he said.
