We have retired professionals, working professionals quitting from their jobs and pursuing courses in Visual Arts." The applied arts include industrial design, graphic design, fashion design, interior design and decorative art.</p>.<p>Speaking on the job prospects, city-based artist K N Venkatesh says, "All visual arts and applied arts courses are interrelated. For instance, a person who is well-versed with painting will also be able familiar with animation. Many corporate companies, newspapers, online media, film production companies and others are always on hunt for people who have done Visual Art courses. Hence, there is no dearth of job opportunities." The minimum qualification required for doing degree courses is SSLC/ second PUC and aptitude test that includes viva, drawing test and written test. "Bangalore is a home to three to four institutes that offer BVA degree and MVA courses. There are nearly around 400-500 pupils enrolling every year for these courses. Those who are interested and passionate about arts can apply for courses.</p>.<p>People with BVA degree courses can also enroll for Master of Arts (Visual Arts), that started, recently, at Bangalore University.
