9 die in TN bus, lorry pile-up

  At least nine people, mostly from among the bus passengers including two women, were charred to death on the spot and 31 others were critically injured, police said.

The dead included the driver and the conductor of the bus. The lorry was also gutted, killing its driver.

The injured with serious burns were rushed to Tiruvannamalai government hospital.
