<div align="justify">The Opposition DMK in Tamil Nadu on Monday urged the Election Commission not to conduct by-polls to the high-profile R K Nagar Assembly seat until the names of fake voters were removed from the list.<br /><br />DMK's Rajya Sabha member R S Bharathi submitted a detailed petition to Chief Electoral Officer Rajesh Lakhoni.<br /><br />"After the perusal of the voter's list and field verification in RK Nagar Assembly constituency, we found various discrepancies such as double entries, multiple entries, non-deletion of shifted voters (who are not residing in the constituency) and non-deletion of deceased voters...," the plea stated.</div>
