<p class="rtejustify">Three persons were injured in an explosion inside a train in lower Assam's Udalguri district on Saturday.</p>.<p class="rtejustify">Chief public relations officer of Northeast Frontier Railways, Pranav Jyoti Sharma told DH that the explosion occurred on Rangiya-Dekargaon inter-city express train, near Harisinga railway station. "As per preliminary information, the injuries were not serious," he said.</p>.<p class="rtejustify">Harisinga railway station is about 150 km north-west of Guwahati.</p>.<p class="rtejustify">Police were ascertaining the culprits behind the blast.</p>.<p class="rtejustify">Police suspect an improvised explosive device planted inside the train may have caused the explosion in the fourth compartment from the engine.</p>
