India-France strategic partnership deepening: PM Modi on 36th session of the Indo-French

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 05 highlighted the strategic partnership between India and France. He also asserted that the ties between two nations is ‘deepening’. Taking to his Twitter, PM Modi said, “Had a fruitful meeting with Mr Emmanuel Bonne, Diplomatic Advisor to President Macron covering a wide range of issues from Defence and security to culture.

I am glad that our Strategic Partnership is further deepening. I have conveyed an invitation to my friend Emmanuel Macron to visit India.” Emmanuel Bonne, Diplomatic Advisor and G7/G20 Sherpa to the President of the French Republic, H.E.

Mr Emmanuel Macron paid a visit to India on 5 January for the 36th session of the Indo-French Strategic Dialogue. The first bilateral visit of the year aimed to pave the way for an ambitious expansion of the Indo-French strategic partnership as it marks its 25th anniversary this year.
