10 held for dacoity

Addressing press conference here on Tuesday, District Superintendent of Police Devajyothi Ray said seven persons who barged into Anand Kumar’s residence on last May 31 tied him and decamped with Rs 45 lakh worth cash and jewellery. At the time of the incident,
Anand’s family was busy in marriage preparation.

Accused Ravindra Reddy and Nagaraj are said to be the masterminds of the crime. Both became friends during their stay in Bangalore Central Jail, he said.  The other arrested are Narayanappa, Somashekhar, B Mahesh, Vijay Kumar,B Mohan, Eshwarachari and Thyagaraj.
