Avarebele Mela from Feb 8

Bhagyalakshmi Enterprises, Vasavi Yuvajana Sangha and Vasavi Club will organise Avarebele Mela at Lotus Mahal on IG Road in Chikkamagaluru from February 8 to 10.

Briefing the reporters, Dinesh Gupta of Vasavi Club said that the mela will be inaugurated at 5 pm on February 8. CMC President Shilpa Rajashekar and others will take part.

Avarekalu icecream will be a major attraction, said organiser Swathi. Various competitions like ‘Aduge Maharani’ (Cooking queen), painting, fancy dress, cooking without fuel will also be held.

Cultural programmes like ‘Nagehabba’ by Sudha Baragooru (Feb 8), magic show (Feb 9) and Sihikahi Chandru Aduge programme (Feb 10) will be held.
