<p>Bengaluru: A delegation of activists, advocates, and students met Alok Mohan, the Director General and Inspector General of Police (DG&IGP) of Karnataka, on Thursday to submit a memorandum demanding action against alleged violations of inter-state investigation guidelines by the Delhi and Uttar Pradesh police.</p>.<p>The memorandum also called for stringent action against hate speeches in Karnataka.</p>.<p>“The work of Nadeem Khan and Mohammed Zubair in exposing hate speeches and campaigns has been instrumental in holding hate mongers accountable. However, the Delhi Police and UP Police are engaging in a targeted witch-hunt against human rights activists,” the memorandum stated.</p>.<p>Before submitting the document, the activists displayed placards in the senior police officer’s office, reiterating their demands for accountability and justice.</p>
