<p>Bengaluru: The BBMP on Thursday issued a clarification over a 2024 incident where a woman attempted to jump from its building in Bengaluru.</p>.<p>The woman, identified as Uma Maheswari from Vijayanagar, has alleged that she faced issues after being administered medicines and didn’t receive any compensation.</p>.<p>"When she went to the hospital in MC Layout on August 16, 2024, for treatment due to headache and pain in her arms, the doctors treated her. Eight days later, on August 24, she went back to the hospital. The doctors treated her again,” the BBMP said. </p>.Woman, claiming to be movie director & life coach, swindles follower of Rs 6.5 lakh in Bengaluru.<p>"After that, she received treatment at Victoria, KC General Hospital, and it was found that she was suffering from mental health issues. After the treatment, she visited government offices, public representatives and officials several times and demanded compensation. She demanded money from officials for other issues, including Ola cab charges,” it added. </p>.<p>The medical team has conducted an inquiry into the treatment given to Maheshwari and has reported that there is no negligence, it said. “The BBMP has no connection with this case." </p>
