Bengaluru: BSWML advances mustering of auto tippers to 6.30 am

Bengaluru: The Bengaluru Solid Waste Management Ltd (BSWML) has advanced the mustering of auto tippers — which collect waste from houses and commercial establishments  — to ensure daily clearance of garbage blackspots.

As per the August 25 order, vehicles must complete attendance between 5.30 am and 6.30 am. After mustering, auto tippers are required to spend an hour clearing blackspots and leaf waste collected by pourakarmikas.

“We have stopped mustering vehicles that come after 6.30 am. The changes ensure timely door-to-door waste collection and blackspot clearance,” said Karee Gowda, Chief Executive Officer of BSWML.
